Makel Tillman is an American singer-songwriter, entrepreneur, and student leader from South Carolina. Born on July 30, 2009, Makel creates music that blends heartfelt storytelling with themes of hope, resilience, self-discovery, and honesty. Through the business, Makel aims to create opportunities for young people while providing dependable services that strengthen his local community.
Academically, Makel is a senior at McCormick High School in McCormick, South Carolina, also attending Piedmont Technical College, where he is an honor student dedicated to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. He serves on the South Carolina High School League Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), representing student-athletes across the state. Makel also competes in varsity football and track & field, where he participates in the throwing events.

DUALITY is the sophomore studio project from Makel Tillman, marking a definitive evolution in his sonic identity. Following the foundational debut WE AS PEOPLE, this project explores the internal and external friction of the modern artist: ambition vs. vulnerability, the “hustle” vs. the “healing.” Under the KINETIC Records label, the project moves away from traditional R&B structures toward a “Cinematic Soul” aesthetic characterized by sophisticated vocal stacking, high-fidelity production, and a renewed focus on lyrical clarity.
