We are RAMENAMI, a punk rock band born in 2012 in Punta Arenas, Chile. We come from the far south—shaped by the wind, the cold, and an unstoppable urge to make music without asking for permission. From the beginning, we’ve been driven by DIY ethics, experimentation, and the desire to transform our experiences into raw, honest songs.

Over the years, our sound has evolved. We started with straightforward punk, but our music has grown to include melodic passages, acoustic moments, emotional layers, and a deliberate mix of styles. We like pushing the boundaries of what we do, trying new combinations, and allowing each creative phase to develop its own identity.

The 2025 lineup features Andreas, Ariel, and Simón, but RAMENAMI has always been more than a fixed lineup—it’s a living project shaped by the people who’ve joined us along the way. We’ve performed in Chile and Argentina, released six EPs, produced multiple music videos, and recorded live sessions that reflect our sound in its most natural form.

We’ve worked everywhere from professional studios like SoulSide Studio to improvised rehearsal rooms and even the homes of band members. That DIY spirit is a core part of who we are: personal, direct, and crafted by hand.

Our name, RAMENAMI, comes from the phrase “ramen a mí,” which for us means to attract what you desire. It blends humor, identity, and intention—much like our music, which explores themes of change, revenge, dreams, friendships, pain, growth, and the landscapes that mark life in Magallanes.

We continue writing, recording, rehearsing, and sharing every step with those who’ve followed us for years and those discovering us for the first time. We’re a band, yes—but also a small community in motion.

And as long as there’s a stage, a rehearsal room, or a corner where we can plug in a cable and make noise, RAMENAMI will keep sounding from the south of the world to wherever the wind takes us.
