Metafix encompasses the musical works of solo electronic artist Matt Waring. Matt is from the northwest area of Pennsylvania (United States). His music is oftentimes inspired by video game soundtracks. More recently his songs became shorter and less repetitive in an effort to keep the audience's interest. Matt refuses to perform live and instead works at recording his music at home, sometimes releasing as many as three albums in a single year. Most of his music he composes on his computer, adjusting the controls to make his own sounds, though he has also been known to play keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. Since its inception in 2001, Metafix has recorded over three-hundred songs.
