Electro + Soul = ElectroSoul United
Born in Japan where ultra-tech meets Zen, ElectroSoul United (aka The United Electrosoul Underground) fuses organic and digital sounds and beats to create innovative music that unites electro and soul. Hence, the artist name.
He likes to use vintage synths, Rhodes piano, bass, and drums as well as samples and software with talented vocalists to produce funky, soulful, electronic soundscapes that touch the minds, bodies and souls of humans and robots alike.
He got his first synth when he started high school in Canada. Soon he was playing in local rock and new wave bands. Upon graduating, he returned to Japan where he was introduced to acid jazz and house at the tiny but trendy bars run by friends who were Japan's pioneer DJs.
He continues to produce and release music under his artist name and real name as well as for other projects and collabs.
His music has aired on radio, MTV, MuchMusic, SKY TV, etc. around the world as well as used in movies.
