Took is a guy from Helsinki, Finland whose music is built on way too many shimmering synths, rocky tom drums, organic clatter and sugary melodies with an ongoing ambition towards positivity and happiness.

The sound and atmosphere Took creates evolves and takes shape from tranquil Scandinavia, Finland, but is also curious towards wild groovy rythms and catchy pop harmonies.

The topics of the songs are largely based on the feelings people get when they really enjoy something or dive into something completely new without necessarily knowing what's bound to happen. The main point is that the feeling stays real and spontaneous.

Took's debut single, "Running" was released on the 10th of May 2017 and the next single, "Afterglow" came out in the beginning of January 2018. Took is releasing his debut album 'Captain Says' on 30.11.2018.
