Orenda (妍把快扶忱抓 in Bulgarian) is a music project from Bulgaria which shows different Bulgarian folk songs in metal arrangements. The person behind the whole idea and the most of the arrangements is Petar Stoyanov /main vocals/. The first song which was released back in 2017 is called Katerino mome. It was a demo version of the tune. Most of the other song arrangements for the first album were made and recorded through the following years. The band released the first single of the upcoming album Maksul at the end of July 2020. The song is called Yovano, Yovanke. For its release the band started a crowdfunding campaign in Indiegogo which was more than successful. The album was released on 1st November 2020. The people who took part and helped its release are Nikolay Kostadinov /keyboards and backing vocals/, Vladimir Voloshchuk /rhythm and acoustic guitars/, Simeon Minchev /solo guitar/, Krasimir Zafirov /solo guitar/, Ivaylo Ninchev /classic guitar/, Siu Nin /saxophone/, Teodor Chirpanliev /drums/, Boil Karaneychev /backing vocals/, Daniel Matarov /programming/, Svetlin Zhelyazkov /editing, mixing and mastering/, Kristiyan Nikolov /photography and album artwork design/.
