Miyoko Yamaguchi, one of Japan's most famous female drummers, started the all-female Japanese funk band BimBamBoom.

The band is comprised of other young talented players, Ayumi (Keyboards), Maryne (Bass), Aiko Guitar), Misaking (sax).

Their unique music is charmiingly called "funk meets punk".

The band has played many gigs including FUJI ROCK Festival and other major Japanese music festivals.
