The eclectic and colorful music of Caribbo is based on Surinamese Rhythms, with a touch of jazz.

Drummer Harvey Wirht ( Angelique Kidjo, Hassan Hakmoun) and keyboardist Etienne Stadwijk (Richard Bona, Brooklyn Funk Essentials) both from Suriname are joined by renown steel panist Andy Narell, vocalist Philip Hamilton ( Pat Metheny, Spyro Gyra ) and bassist Ron Reid ( The Caribbean Jazz Project, Antonio Hart). The band is often enhanced by traditional percussionists and will definitely put you in ecstasy with their kawina and kaseko rhythms from Suriname.
