Ingrid D. Johnson found her dream within a dream years ago, awaking to the humming of her first song that has led to a 16+ year career filled with soulful, poignant songwriting, backed by her band The Funky Fresh Crew and influenced by musicians from Leonard Cohen to Billie Holiday.

Through her small production company, In The Closet Productions, "A voice for The voiceless," honored in the Manitoba Status of Women 2011 government publication, Ingrid D. Johnson shares her original mix of POP, JAZZ, R&B music. In addition to offering public speaking engagements, spoken word recordings, a monthly podcasts, and short narrative films aimed to draw awareness to important social issues like the impact of childhood sexual abuse.
