Formed in Udine, Italy in December 2017, Broken Wings is the fruit of a strong friendship and a shared vision of rock: direct, visceral, melodic, and uncompromising. The lineup includes Massimo Zanuttini (guitar), Ilenia Serini (drums), Sabrina Coianiz (vocals), and Gabriele Plai (bass). With international musical experience under their belt—including legendary stages like the Rainbow and Whiskey a Go Go in Los Angeles—Broken Wings draw on the heavy metal, hard rock, and rock 'n' roll of the '70s and '80s, reworking them with a contemporary attitude and a personal style open to experimentation. In 2022, they released their first album, Against the Wind&;, which was met with enthusiastic response, especially live. The band has shared the stage with the likes of Wolfmother, The Dead Daisies, Europe, Crashdïet, Vicious Rumors, and Pino Scotto, establishing themselves as a solid presence in the national rock scene and beyond. 2025 marks Broken Wings' return to the recording industry with a new album of original material: a more mature, powerful, and inspired record, where sharp riffs, compelling grooves, and profound lyrics reveal the band's evolution and its ever-present vision of rock.
