Aurora Bla¢K is a Zambian rapper, singer, song-writer and producer hailing from Kitwe. He gained a keen interest in music from his upbringing in Gaborone, Botswana picking up influences from the jazz, funk and gospel music his parents played all the time when he was younger. Later, in his teens he would begin writing poetry before fellow artist and close friend, Alex S. got him into writing raps. He would eventually begin his official music journey in 2017, less than a year after moving to Zambia. After rapping for years he finally made the conscious decision to learn how to make beats in 2023, and now draws inspiration from producers and artists like Nujabes, Pharrell, J Cole, The Alchemist, Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Erykah Badu, Mac Miller and Solange.
