Mami Lab started music in her childhood through playing the electronic organ, joining her school brass band club as a trombonist, and her school band club as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. The demo tape she recorded passed the audition for a world-famous music label.
After moving to Tokyo, Mami Lab performed as a solo singer-songwriter, mainly at venues around Shibuya. Besides her live performances, she hosted an FM radio program as an assistant with an actor, starred in a short film, and contributed her original song for it. She also worked as a resident vocalist at jazz venues.

In the late 2010s, she started her career as a songwriter (mainly as a topliner and singer), which was her lifelong dream. Influenced by her favorite musicians and vocalists worldwide, her catchy toplines and unique concepts make her songs highly addictive.

In 2022, she re-started as a singer-songwriter under the credit "Mami Laboratory."

As soon as she restarted, she got in contact with another famous domestic music label and released several original songs digitally.

Not only in music production but also in artworks and music videos, she plans, directs, and produces almost everything by herself. Her songs were consistently featured on music web media and official playlists and were aired on a radio program popular among music lovers.

Also, from 2023, started her career as the main singer for TV commercial songs for nationwide companies.
