A singer-songwriter originally from Melbourne, Australia, and currently based in Los Angeles.
Her 2015 debut album, 'Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit,' earned her a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, establishing her as a modern guitar heroine. Her unique style, like a "stream of consciousness," depicts everyday trivial events with keen insight and witty lyrics, garnering immense support from music fans worldwide.
Her long-awaited 4th album, 'Creature of Habit,' will be released on March 27th, 2026.
This album, created after a major turning point in her life—the closure of her long-running label "Milk! Records" and her move to LA—marks the most emotionally charged and introspective "new chapter" in her career to date. Featuring tracks like "Site Unseen" with Waxahatchee, this latest work is filled with sincere confessions and an evolved sound, and she has announced her first Japan tour in seven years.
