Rejjie Snow, originally from Dublin, Ireland, gained attention with his 2013 EP 'Rejovich,' and solidified his reputation with his 2017 mixtape 'The Moon & You,' featuring Joey Bada$$. In 2018, he released his debut album 'Dear Annie,' produced by Rahki. His mellow sound, incorporating jazz, soul, and R&B, and his unique flow have established him with international acclaim. The following year, 2019, he made his first solo visit to Japan, performing at WWW X and appearing at 'CIRCUS × CIRCUS 2019.'
Since his first visit to Japan in 2019, he hasn't been able to perform live in Japan due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. However, he hasn't stopped his creative activities during that time, releasing "Cookie Chips," a collaboration with his idol MF DOOM, in 2020. Following that, in 2021, he released his second album, "Baw Baw Black Sheep," featuring MF DOOM, Tinashe, and Snoh Aalegra. Then, in 2024, he released his third album, "PEACE 2 DA WORLD," which reflects the inspiration he gained from traveling around the world. Over approximately seven years, he has continued to update his expression with each new work.
From the beginning of his career, he has collaborated with artists who symbolize different eras and scenes, such as Loyle Carner, Joey Bada$$, Kaytranada, Aminé, and Clairo, continuously refining his unique worldview that freely traverses jazz, soul, R&B, and indie pop, centered on hip-hop.
This solo performance in Tokyo, their first in approximately seven years, will be a rare opportunity to experience the "currently evolving" Rejjie Snow, who have continued to evolve through their releases.
