Sydney, Australia based singer/songwriter/performer Tom Christie has released his debut album entitled "Canopy".
Retro pop with a fresh yet melancholic and nostalgic feel, this 13-song album boasting exciting instrumentation and vocal harmony, pays homage to the "sunshinge pop" of the mid to late 60's.
The album is heavily influenced by bands such as The Beatles, The Kinks, The Zombies, The Beach Boys, and The Lovin' Spoonful.
Tom records his music at home, working strategically when his housemates are out, and layering instruments and vocals one part at a time. He does all songwriting, arranging, recording, vocals and plays all instruments himself.
His hard work and talent really shine in this debut album.
